Mid/Side EQ is appealing to producers, mixing, and mastering engineers as it provides more comprehensive control over your audio. With Mid/Side EQ, a stereo signal is split into mono and stereo channels, allowing you to isolate the frequency spectrum at the center or sides of your mix. As a result, you are able to adjust your track with greater precision and flexibility.

It is a powerful tool for balancing a track. But be careful: Mid/Side EQ can ruin your track if applied poorly, which is unfortunately very easy to do. Today’s video will go over Mid/Side EQ and how it can be used to enhance your tracks in the final stages.
